Have You Gotten Home Safely?

Stephanie and I met in Lhasa in 2003, from that time on, we have become very good friend. I have never thought that I would have such a close friend from the west, who I can share deep down feelings without having any worries.

During the one week visiting, we had classes together; we went out for dinners, walked around the downtown Brattleboro, watched movies, and went to swim. The Time was very short, but we had great time together.

Because of her, I re-knew SIT and Brattleboro, where I am always busing but never have had chance to really see and feel about. After walking around with Steph, SIT, which I used to feel like a summer camp and an uncommon graduate school, has become a very lovely and cool academic land to me; Brattleboro, where I used to feel not much to dig, has become a very sweet and fun town to explore.

Following this joyful feeling, I am going to find more time to really feel and enjoy it. I can feel that this place has already had some sentimental attachment to my heart. I can tell that I love this place, where I have started to feel and see the world in a broader scope. I am already missing this place, where I complained and cried more often then somewhere else.:)
Thank you very much—Stephanie for bringing this beautiful memories and windows to me.

Wish you a safe and happy journey back to home.

I was happy to meet Stephanie! Of course I'm selfish because I want to talk "Canadian" :) This is a funny picture.. I think it is at Amy's Café in Brattleboro, right? That's one thing I do miss about living on campus - I am really removed from the town life and feel I am missing out on the experience! I too was able to share this town with someone special to me and it adds extra meaning with every memory I attach to this place. However, I have learned over time that places really lose their meaning after a while and it is the people that I really long for.

Yes, it is the Amy's Bakery.
I think that people are always the main elements that link to our memories. However, I still think that the place has its meaning to us somehow too. As an example, I think that there would always America somewhere in my memories and heart .
